The staff were super friendly and welcoming, check-in was smooth, the room and toilet were mind-blowingly clean. The hotel provided a charger for our phones and had a restaurant for breakfast. The location was great, near a hospital and Sagrada Familia, with a market and good restaurants nearby. The hostel was close to the metro station, the bed was jaw-droppingly comfortable, and the cleaning service was excellent. The lady at reception was incredibly kind. The area was calm and safe, with easy access to major attractions. Incredible value for money!

The rooms are clear, tidy air conditioned, but very small.The hostel locates near a metro station (Dos de maig hospital st. Pau) not too far from the city centre.

The staff does not really speak english so we made ourselves understood hard. Thy asked for the fee before leaving. When we arrived (12:15, check in time from 12:00) our room was not ready, we had to wait 30 minutes to get ready. We were told that usually guests arrived later in the afternoon and were kindly asked to come back later. Mornings are very noisy. We were made aware of all the motors, cars passsing by on the street and there is a pub next to the hostal with evening parties.

The room was clean, cozy and surprisingly spacious. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near amenities, including a supermarket and hospital.

The hostal is a great distance from La Sagrada Familia without being in the middle of the tourist area, very quiet neighborhood. The receptionist was very nice. We had a little terrace and the room was plain but adequate.

The room, though non-smoking, smelled badly of smoke. The room was very small and basic, the shower was a bit annoying as it was too small. Notice that the hotel will charge your credit card for the first night and if you want that refunded you actually have to tell them at the time of booking. They refused to refund ours as we didn't inform them beforehand.

Friendly place and in a very quiet area. Free Wi-fi access and very close to Metro Station at hospital Sant-Pau. Room was decent.

We had a comfortable and clean room with air conditioning and a TV. Despite arriving late, the 24-hour check-in was convenient and the staff were patient with us. The location was perfect, with easy access to metro lines and a variety of cafes nearby. I would recommend this hotel for a budget stay in Barcelona.

It's a good value with a convenient location near a Metro stop. Some on the staff can speak English which I found very helpful.

I was in a ground floor room & some other guests were rather loud when coming & going.

We had a wonderful stay at a hidden gem in a quiet neighborhood. The location was perfect, with easy access to the main tourist attractions via the nearby metro. The room, though small, was comfortable and had a convenient bar fridge. The air-conditioning worked well to keep us cool during our stay. Despite the high prices in the city, we found this hotel to be great value for money. We would definitely choose to stay at Hostal Sant Pau again.
